Just a short update here, below is an infographic which condenses the project options outlined in the previous updates into one location.  Thanks to all those who have filled out the surveys already, the faster we get those filled, the faster we can order material and start production!  The survey deadline is about a week from now (July 9th) so if you change your mind about an option, you can go back into your survey to edit until then.  Also feel free to check out the photo gallery link below to see more combinations:

Arceo Customization Previews & Surveys Coming!

Hi Backers,

Everyone should be receiving their Backerkit surveys in their email inboxes tonight where you will be able to fully customize your pledges as well as add for extra inserts, spinners, faceplates and more!  But before I go over some NEW customization options for the Arceo developed over the past week, some brief housekeeping items about the surveys.

As mentioned above, you’ll soon receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.  The sooner we know what everyone wants, the sooner we can order the material and get production rolling!  :)

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey a bit later today, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://arceowallet.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://arceowallet.backerkit.com/faq.  If you fail to see your survey show up in your inbox, remember to check your junk folders and if you still haven't received it, just fire me a message and we'll get that sorted out asap!

With that out of the way lets go over some NEW customization options for the Arceo!

• New G10 plate color, Coyote Brown.  This is a new color we can source for your Arceo wallets, but we don't have stocked yet.  Check out the rendering below for a good approximation for what this color looks like!

• New Carbon Fiber Money Clip plate!  Any backer will be able to add for a low-profile money clip plate on the survey, and if you pledged for a Special Edition Package, you will be able to upgrade your included G10 Money Clip plate to carbon fiber if you like!

• 6 new "Satin Chrome" insert colors and 1 new Twill color is available! These new insert colors are selectable for ANY plate style, check out the pictures below.

- Champagne Gold Satin (Lighter gold hue than the twill version)

- Light Blue Satin (a slightly deeper blue than Cyan)

- Teal Satin

- Navy Blue Satin

- Green Satin

- Hot Pink Satin (magenta)

- Chameleon Purple Twill (Depending on the ambient light angle, this twill color transitions between a deep violet/blue to a lighter purple)

- Add extra add-ons to customize your Arceo, the categories in the survey are outlined below:

• Extra Plates:  add for a new set of modular plates to customize your Arceo.
• Extra Inserts:  add for an insert to match your extra plate in whichever style you chose!
• Accessories:  add for a Quanta Clip, spare hardware sets, a walnut LED tray and more!
• Spinners:  add for a Carbon Fiber Praxis or Mini Tri-Spinner.
• Wallets: add for another full Arceo wallet if you like!

We are also starting a new round of pre-orders through Backerkit for people that missed the campaign, so if you know a friend who loves cool wallets send em over!  We won't be starting production of the Backerkit pre-orders until all of our Kickstarter rewards are made.  Thanks again everyone, I'm looking forward to everyone's responses! :)

Hi Backers,

The Arceo campaign is finally at an end and our whole team is incredibly grateful for your support and feedback throughout the entire project!  Surveys to customize your reward options will be done through Backerkit instead of the default kickstarter survey, and they will be sent out sometime next week via email. 

You will be able to choose options to customize the Arceo wallets as well as add for extra insert colors, plates and more.  If you over-pledged for extras like the Praxis already, the survey system will automatically pick that up and you will be able to choose exactly what you want in the Backerkit survey. 

I will be doing another update just before the survey is released that clarifies all of the Arceo options one more time as well as adding more wallet combination pictures to our photo gallery to help you decide on yours.

Shipping rebates also went out today, so everyone should be notified of a $10 CAD refund over the next couple days as we have been able to save on shipping costs due to the larger than expected volume of this campaign!  Thanks again backers, our team is super pumped to get started on production and we will be working very hard to get these in your hands as soon as possible!

Arceo "Diamondback" custom plate set reveal!

Hi Backers,

Another cool update for everyone as we enter the home stretch of the Arceo wallet campaign, a brand new plate set called the "Diamondback" which will be available for selection to 'special edition' and 'special edition package' backers.  It's an even more futuristic take on the Arceo aesthetic and really emphasizes the contrast of the insert material with the composite plate material.  Although only a handful of color combos are shown below, you'll be able to mix and match any color/material of plate and insert from our selection.  The full picture gallery link has been updated below and I'll be loading up as many color combinations as I can for both regular and special edition Arceo's over the next couple weeks to make it easier for you to decide on your selections.  (Just let me know if there are specific combos you'd like to see and I'll show those first! :)

The NEW MaKO-Multi & Improved MaKO Design!

Hi Backers,

Today's update is all about the MaKO, specifically how much more awesome it's gotten!  The functionality in the new MaKO Rev.2  has drastically improved.  We've made the entire design sleeker and thinner without sacrificing strength and made it easier to attach lanyard/paracord loops to the MaKO making it much simpler to use it as a quick-release system for the wallet.  We're also now using CNC milled black acetal resin (Delrin) for the MaKO because the friction coefficient is better than G10 so the MaKO slides out of the attachment slot much easier with zero "stiction" effect.  All backers who pledged for a wallet with a MaKO will now get the improved design.  Check out the pictures below!

We have another tool we've been working on to really augment the usefulness of the MaKO called the "MaKO-Multi".  It's a prybar which doubles as a smartphone stand in portrait or landscape configurations and is CNC milled from black G10. 

As a thank you for the amazing support for getting us so far past our goal, we are including a FREE MaKO-Multi for everyone who has pledged for a Special Edition or a Special Edition Package Arceo wallet.  We will also make the option available to all backers to add an additional MaKO-Multi to your pledge at the survey.

And for those wondering how I made the paracord lanyard for the MaKO, I just followed the instructions at the link below.  It's called a "cobra" weave and is a fairly fast lanyard wrap to do with about 3-4 ft. of paracord.
